Prepared with the help of innovative technique of modern art, this museum showcases different varieties of sculptures that are made up of tree trunks and roots in unique designs.
A school teacher in the Andaman and Nicobar Island, Mrs. Raji Punnoose founded this museum. Comprising of twisted tree trunks, roots and stumps, the sculptures are regarded as the transformed pieces of driftwood which were collected by her from the seashore during her professional term at the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Most of the sculptures resemble the shapes of animals, birds or fishes. People who are inspired by creativity and art should visit this place as from the artistic view point it remains a master piece of fossil collection. The uniqueness of the place makes it worth visiting.
