Gavi Gangadeshwara Cave Temple, Karnataka
Another prominent attraction of Bangalore is the Gavi Gangadeshwara Cave Temple. This famous cave temple is situated near Basavanagudi and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple was also built by Kempe Gowda, who was the founder of the city of Bangalore. It was created by cutting through a huge rock and has an idol of Agni, the God of fire. Besides 33 more idols are present in this temple, which attract tourists from near and far.
