Constructed in 15th century, well known Jain temple remains the oldest shrine in the area of Bikaner. This temple was dedicated to Shri Sumati Nath ji, who was the 5th Tirthankar of the Jain religion. It is believed that pure ghee and dry coconut was used in the construction of the foundation of this famous temple.

Carved out of white marble and red sandstone this temple is famous for its beautiful wall paintings and artistically designed sculptures. Rich mirror work decorates the temple, while gold leaf paintings increase its charm.

The interiors as well as the exteriors of Jain temple are embossed with different religious carvings. Watching sunset from the second floor of this temple is a pleasing experience for travelers.
