A very beautiful and charming place of Ooty is the tiger hill. It is located in the eastern side of the hill station and extends lower towards the end of Doddabetta Peak. It is situated merely at a distance of 6 Kms from the central town. You can use trekking to reach the top of the tiger hill and on the hills located is a reservoir of water fit for drinking as it meets the safety standards of the water.
Tiger Hill also houses a cave nearby. It is believed that this cave has a strong connection to many religious legends. It is an ideal picnic destination and tourists of the place include the local residents as well as visitors from around the globe to unwind and relax.
