Bajreshwari Devi Temple was built in the eleventh century. The temple is devoted to goddess Vajreshwari and it is an amazing sample of rock model. At the entrance there are two pillars; one of them has some carvings which provide information regarding the temple construction. The doorway has two doormen holding weapon is their hands. The outer side of the compartment is having images of Ma Durga sitting on a lion and God Vishnu in the Vaikuntha form. The beautiful pillars have inscriptions that show images of a number of gods and goddesses of the Hindu religion. The temple is a famous pilgrimage centre and devotees from all over the state of Himachal Pradesh, and as well as the entire country, visits this place.
Pilgrims pray here to the goddess so that mother Vajreshwari will bestow her affection and shower blessings on them. This temple is a major attraction from the Himachal Pradesh tourism point of view.
