In 1853 government acquired this place from the king of Chamba. Quite a number of tourists visit this place in order to witness the breathtaking beauty of the hill station and to enjoy the cozy weather conditions over here. This place is enveloped by rhododendron, pine, oak and fir trees and these make it suitable for a leisurely walk. While travelling through this beautiful place you can observe macaques and langurs swirling around the trees. Witnessing all these things is delightful for the onlookers; moreover the calmness of this place is adorable.
This place is above Gandhi Chowk. Located merely 330 meters away one can reach this place by foot.
