This is a building that serves as a dwelling place for Dharamvir family. The construction of this building was done in 1933 and it was owned by Dr N.R.Dharamvir, a native of Lahore. This building gained importance after great freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose visited here and stayed in this place for around 7 months in the year 1937. Dr. Dharamveer’s wife was a class fellow of Netaji, who in order to improve his health condition went to Dalhousie and stayed at this place, which is famous for its soothing climate and pleasing environment. This building is at a distance of hardly 50 kilometers from G.P.O.
The building is located below the road and cannot be seen from the road. An unimportant looking board having Kyance written on it dangles from a tree which is not easily noticed by people. However, this place is quite famous among travelers and local people.
