This sanctuary is 9km away from Gandhi Chowk. One can reach this place in around 30 minutes by car. Traversing through this sanctuary will take less than 6 hours. The cleanly maintained snaky roads of this Wildlife Sanctuary make it an excellent strolling path for the visitors. In order to take vehicles inside this sanctuary authorization from DFO of Chamba is needed. The summer months from March to May and the post monsoon period from September to November are favorable to visit this sanctuary.
