Dainkund Peak is located at a height of 2755 meter above the sea level and is 10 kilometers away from Dalhousie. This mountain peak is considered as the highest mountain peak in the entire valley. One of the best ways to reach this peak is by trekking. You can view the entire valley from this peak.
The sound coming from the breeze that originates from the trees creates a melody that provides another name to this peak that is the singing hill. This peak has two major attractions; one is the Indian Air Force base and the other is the Pholani Devi temple, which is a temple of great importance.
