Central park is also called Chaughan and the most wonderful construction here is the Gandhi gate which signifies Lord Curzon’s visit to this hill station. During the British rule cricket tournaments used to be organized in this park, while in the recent times only fairs and festivals are organized here.
This park also serves as the centre for community trade. A wonderful Shiva temple is another appealing attraction of this place; Manimahesh Yatra is of great importance in Hindu mythology and it takes place here. Visitors from all over India visit this park in order to witness the picturesque beauty of this park, plus have a view of the entire hill station from a single platform.
