The Jallandar Beach is one of the many beaches found in Daman. This beach has often been praised by those who have visited it. It is not as popular as some of the other beaches but is in no way inferior to any of them. The lack of popularity can be a great bonus, especially for those tourists who are looking for a vacation destination where they can get away from all the hustle and bustle which can normally be found in all famous tourist locations. At Jallandhar Beach, tourists will find one of the most beautiful beaches in the region, with waves of the clear water lapping around their toes. There is a small temple dedicated to the Goddess Chandrika which can be found in the hills near this beach. Tourists can also visit the nearby memorial containing the face of the demon Jallandhar who, according to Hindu mythology, was vanquished here by Lord Vishnu.
