Situated on the hill top on Gangtok–Nathula road, a small attractive temple of Ganesh, commonly known as Ganesh Tok, is to be found in the close proximity of television tower.
The temple is around 7km away from the main town and is at an attitude of about 6,500 meters. It holds an idol of lord Ganesha and because of its very small size; it can accommodate only one person in its premises at a time. On the other hand, its location makes it a popular place amongst visitors. You can also get a bird’s eye view of Raj Bhawan Complex, Gangtok town and the magnificent Mount Kanchendzonga which is evidently visible from its hill top.
