The Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the 4 Wildlife Sanctuaries in the state of Goa which can be found at a distance of 38 km from the city of Madgao and 50 km from Panaji. This place also doubles as a jungle resort and is greatly popular among different schools who often organize field trips and tours for their students here. Run by the Forest Department of the State of Goa, the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary has botanical gardens, a large deer safari park, a small zoo, numerous botanical gardens, a Nature Education Centre and even nature trails for those tourists who want to head out and experience the diverse flora and fauna of this region.
