Location: A magnificent garden, Saheliyon Ki Bari is located to the north of Fateh Sagar Lake in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Description: The credit of building this beautiful garden goes to Sangram Singh II. This garden was built in the year 1710 and was constructed for 48 young girls, who came along as a part of dowry, with the princess. The garden of maidens, as it is alternatively called, reflects the royal lifestyle of the princess and her maidens. This garden is decorated with four pools which are surrounded by dainty kiosks. The flowerbeds, fountains and lawns are protected with the help of shady trees and walls. No pumps are used for the fountains and they function solely with the help of water pressure. A sitting room is also present inside the garden, which is decorated beautifully with glass mosaic and paintings. This garden is regarded as a green retreat present in the dry lands of majestic state, Rajasthan.

Activities: The Saheliyon Ka Bagh also houses a museum which can be visited by the tourists. This museum is known to house a huge collection of items belonging to the royal families. Tourists can also stroll around the garden and enjoy the calm ambiance. The crystalloid fountains are worth visiting; therefore keep this attraction on your must visit list.
