Tourists who want to see how beautiful the natural vistas of Goa really are should definitely head to the Morjim Beach of North Goa. This beach is a relatively new entrant, as compared to some of the other beaches which were ‘discovered’ earlier. Its popularity was due to the many private parties held on this beach, away from the other commercial and consequently more crowded beaches. Located to the north of river Chapora, this beach is rather flat, making it a great choice for those tourists who want to explore a little of the marine life of Goa’s beaches and collect things, like shells. The crystal clear waters of the Arabian Sea are also a factor, for this beach being assigned as one of the protected breeding grounds of the Olive Ridley Turtles. It is also because of this reason that excessive tourist traffic is not directed here, apart from a few places which offer accommodation.
