Located in the Salcette Region, Colva Beach is a world famous beach which is situated in South Goa, stretching for approximately two and a half kilometers of pure white sands, flanked by palm trees swaying in the breeze. This beach is situated between Cabo De Rama towards its south and Bogmalo towards the north and is a tourist destination which is also a fishing village. Tourists will be pleased to find a large number of options when it comes to accommodation, cuisine and entertainment here, since this beach is also one of the most popular tourist destinations throughout the state of Goa. There are bars, restaurants, guest houses, luxury and budget hotels as well as shacks on the beach itself. Certain areas of the beach are unsafe for swimming, particularly at night and are therefore not only marked off using brightly colored flags, but are strictly monitored by lifeguards as well.
