Located in the Salcette region of South Goa, the small town of Loutolim is home to one of Goa’s most interesting tourist attractions. Another great reason to visit the Ancestral Goa is the reason why it attracted the nickname “Big Foot.” This name comes from a giant foot print which was discovered on a rock. This has led to a large number of people coming here as well as the surrounding environs of Loutolim. This region, unbeknownst to many, is also home to some very rare, indigenous reptiles and birds.
