Located on the Anjenaya Hill, The Hanuman temple houses the deity Hanuman, the monkey shaped God, considered to be both a devoted disciple and the warrior of Lord Rama.
One has to climb 570 steps to reach this temple, which is a small chamber like shrine with a pyramid roof. The Hanuman statue is placed inside the temple. The hillock around the temple is vibrant with traditional prayers and the sunset and sunrise views are beautiful. A trek up here is worth it.
