Location: Jamwa Ramgarh, also famous as Ramgarh, is situated in north east part of Jaipur city, around 28 km away. A number of attractions are present in this place, which served as a hunting ground for the Maharajas of earlier times.
Description: A big lake that exists in the vicinity serves as the main attraction of this place. This lake, surrounded by immaculate hills on all sides, is famous for the natural beauty that it possesses. This temple can be reached by bus from Jaipur bus stand to Sanganer; Sanganer has its own railway station so going by train is also possible. From railway station one can take a taxi, bus, tempo etc. Nearest airport is Santander, Jaipur the distance is 2.5 kilometers by bus.
Activities: You can see a hunting lodge in this area and it has now been converted into a very good heritage hotel. One can have an extensive view of the beautiful village side from this hotel. A number of migratory birds can be seen in the vicinity of the lake and the monsoon season sees the lake in its full charm and flow. One can see many species of birds in this lake and it serves as a nice place for ornithologists and nature lovers.
