Location: Located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, this place is considered to be a favorite tourist spot and is well known for its swanky palace, the Lakshmi Narayan temple, and the Ganesh temple.
Description: Palace situated at the Moti Doongri hill used to be a small fort and it underwent renovation and the credit for it goes to Sawai Man Singh II. It also served as the residence of Rajmata, Gayathri Devi. Moti Dongri palace follows the style that a Scottish castle is made of. Till date it is considered to be a private property that belongs to the royal lineage so common masses are restrained from going there. During the Sawai Man Singh’s lifetime Moti Dongri palace served as a venue for great feasts. Another attraction of this place is Ganesh temple. This temple attracts a number of devotees as well as tourists because of its scenic beauty. This temple was built by Seth Jai Ram Paliwal. It is one of the most well liked tourist destinations in Jaipur. The temple is positioned on a small hill.
Activities: As stated above, the palace is not open for the public so the temple is the only tourist attraction of this place. Other tourist attractions located nearby are Nahagarh fort, the City Palace, Statue circle and the Hawa Mahal.
