How to Reach Tirupati

Tirupati Main railway station, positioned in the Indian  state of Andhra Pradesh, serves the Tirupati city and the regular surge of a large number of pilgrims who visits this town to get the blessings of Lord Tirupati. This station is very well linked to the main places of India such as Delhi (by Kerala Exp), Mumbai (by Kanyakumari Exp), Chennai (by Sapthagiri Exp), and Madurai (by Rmm Okha Exp). The main railhead in close proximity to this place is around 15km from here, which is Renigunta, it is on the Trivandarum and Delhi route and is very well connected to the chief cities of India by railways. 

By Air

The Kiribati airport is located in Renuigunta, is just 15km away from the consecrated city. From Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore regular flights are available for the pilgrims. From this airport, one can hire a taxi to go the city, it charges around Rs.300 only.  It is a domestic airport, for people coming from other Countries the nearest airport is the Chennai airport.


By Bus

All the towns of Andhra Pradesh are very well connected to the Tirupati through APSRTC buses. Also a lot of services are also provided by the Tamil Nadu public transport corporation buses. A great initiative has been taken by the Karnataka government, as Karnataka buses connect this holy city to other nearby cities. In fact some package tours are also offered by the tourist service providers from some major cities, such as Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad etc., even the charges are quite nominal these can vary from Rs. 250-600.
