Ooty, the Queen of Hill Stations
Ooty, the capital of Nilgiris region is also called as Ootacamund. Since it is one of the most famous tourist resorts, it is also popularly known as the Queen of all the hill stations. Ooty is basically a place of pictorial picnic spots, which is located at a height of 2,240 Mt above the sea level. During the colonial time, Ooty was used to be admired among the Britishers for weekend and summer vacations.
