THE PRINCESS OF THE HILLS - KODAIKANAL
Known as the Princess of hill stations, Kodaikanal is situated about 7,200 feet above the sea level and is an extremely popular tourist spot in South India. In the local language, Kodaikanal means the gift of the forest. And it is aptly named, for Kodaikanal holds dense evergreen forests along with huge rocks in the wilderness, beautiful cascading waterfalls, making it an ideal holiday spot. Also famous are the eucalyptus oil, exotic homemade chocolates, and fruits like plums and pears.
