November to February- The eastern part is chillier as compared to the western part. The average temperature swings from 1°C to 15°C in the eastern part. Western part shows little variation in temperature.


March to May- The days are moderately warm and the average temperature remains near to 30°C in the western part. The nights are cooler and temperature comes down to 25°C. The eastern part has temperature between the ranges of 5°C to 15°C.


June to November- The region receives South west monsoon from June to August and North east monsoon from October to November. The western part receives higher rainfall as compared to the eastern part.
