The mighty capital city of Hyderabad
Hyderabad is the capital city of the wonderful state Andhra Pradesh, which is nestled on the Deccan Plateau and is estimated to be roughly 500 years old city. Hyderabad city is about 500 m above the sea level at an average. Primarily the city was initiated on River Musi’s southern banks and the majority of the province is on wobbly terrain. The city of Hyderabad is also renowned as “Historical Old City” and it is the abode to the famous Charminar and Mecca Mosque.
This hi tech capital city is undergoing many developments and constructions of Government offices and other landmarks, basically in the southern region of lake Hussain Sagar. The speedy advancements taking place in the capital city and the surrounding cities and townships have resulted in the formation of a thickly populated area of Andhra Pradesh.
Hyderabad also serves as a great place for job opportunities in the sector of Information Technology, as there is a huge set up of business process outsourcing (BPO) companies. Also many call centers have mushroomed, making the city one of the most hi tech and advanced cities, not only of Andhra Pradesh, but of the country overall. There was a huge development in the IT related service set ups which started initiating in the early 1990’s. Many renowned pharmaceutical companies, which include Aurobindo Pharma Limited, Divis Labs, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Hetero Drugs Limited, Matrix Laboratories, and Vimta Labs, are also nestled in the capital city.
The people of Hyderabad generally speak Telegu and English. Best season to visit the place is from October to March.
