Guruvayur is the city of Lord Krishna and is visited by thousands of tourists and pilgrims all around the year. For the most part of the year this city witnesses dry climate.
For most part of the year, Guruvayur experience a dry climate. During the winter season the climate is very pleasant while in summers it is very hot. Therefore the best season to make a visit to Guruvayur is during the winter season that is in the months of December, January and February. In these months, the city seems beautiful as the monsoon has just ended and the weather is very pleasant. The temperature is perfect for the individuals who want to enjoy outdoor activities with their friends. Months of August to November are also preferred by many people to make a visit to the city because around these months the city of Guruvayur witnesses many celebrations. However the summer season being hot, is not the preferred season and tourists generally do not plan their visit in this season. Summer season starts from the month of March and lasts till the month of July.
