As this magnificent town of temples located in Andhra Pradesh does not have its own airport, the nearest Tirupati airport serves the needs of travelers arriving here from all over the world. Another good option is the Chennai airport, which is located at a distance of around 135 km from here and it takes around three hours to reach Chittor. This airport is very well connected with some of the main cities of India. Private taxis well as the prepaid taxis both are available at these airports to take passengers to their desired destination in Chittoor.

Being situated on NH4, Chittoor has good connectivity with various cities, including Chennai, Tirupati and Bangalore. State government owned or APSRTC, buses are easily available to reach Chittoor from most of the parts of the state. Buses are definitely a quite affordable and the most easily available option, and the best part is that it does not require any advance booking as well. These days private buses are also quite common on this route, and they also offer semi deluxe, deluxe and luxury bus options.
