Temple

in
the

Valiyapalli

the

churches
in
Kottayam,

Valiyapalli
church
was
built
in
the

1550.

church
was
built
for
the
Knanaya
Orthodox
Syrians
and
is
renowned
for
its
ancient
Persian
cross
dating
back
to
the
8th
century
and
also
the
Pahalavi
inscription
on
the
cross.
