Location: Table Land is situated at a height of approximately 4550 feet above sea level and is famous as the highest point of the Panchgani region.
Description: Table Land is better known as the second longest mountain plateau housed in the Asian continent. Table Land is unique as it has been made up of a composition of laterite rock and has been enclosed from all sides by hills and mountain peaks. Table Land covers an area of roughly 95 acres and is covered under the sheet of blue bonnet and star. A few other types of grasses also grow during the months of August to September. Table Land provides perfect aerial views of the Rajpuri Caves and Devil’s Kitchen. Table Land also protects the landscape located below from strong winds that blow across the region during the rainy season.
Activities: One can find a bundle of activities to indulge in and spend leisure time at Table Land. One can indulge in horse riding; while for kids merry go rounds are present along with mini trains. A number of stalls and game counters are present too. You can indulge in the local cuisine to taste the local flavors at the food stalls present here, offering delicious and mouth-watering food.
