Description: The main deity of the Gauri Shankar temple, which was constructed around the 11th and 12th century, is Lord Shiva. This shrine houses an idol of goddess Gauri and Lord Shankar. This place is considered as a protected monument. This place, which is regarded as the last monument of Pratihara-Gurjara tradition, is famous for its splendid architecture. The temple features a dome shaped top while the base is present in square shape. Main attraction of the shrine remains the stone carvings that adorn the interiors, as well as the exteriors of the temple.
