Location: Kothi Gorge is located on the roadside of Keylong on the Lahaul-Spiti-Leh National Highway. It is at a distance of about 12 km from Manali in the Himachal Pradesh state of India.
Description: Kothi Gorge is a lovely village situated at the bottom of Rohtang pass. This village provides a beautiful and photographic view of River Beas running swiftly through the deep gorge. It is one of the main attractions of Manali which provide a chance to experience the natural beauty of mountainous landscapes. It is elevated at an altitude of 2500m. Tourists may also visit Solang valley, which lies near to this village. This place is a very good picnic spot for tourists and people who live nearby this village. Visitors can easily reach this village in about two or three hours by road journey. Paragliding, which is a popular outdoor adventure sports, is also one of the main attractions of this place. The period beginning from the month of May to the month of October is the best to visit this beautiful village.
