A well know tourist spot of Matheran, it is a unique hill spot which is distinct due to a single Jambhul tree positioned at the top of it. This place has a long history, and it is believed that the path to this point was discovered by British collector of Thane district, Hugh Poyntz Malet.
To reach this point you have to take a road, which is known as the Shivaji’s ladder, and it is really an amazing experience. The surroundings here are serene and cool; and thus it is an ideal place to spend some delightful times. It is the place where you can catch the scenic views of some important spots of Matheran, such as tent hill and Chowk village.
