Location: Gita Mandir is situated at an estimated distance of five kilometers from Mathura district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Description: Gita Mandir is famous as one of the main attractions of Mathura and remains crowded with devotees throughout the year.  This temple is a relatively new structure, built by Birla Group of Industries, which is one of the leading names in the industrial sector of India. Archeologists have inscribed the text of Hindu Holy Scripture ‘Shrimad Bhagavad Gita’ on the walls of this temple. Gita Mandir is a wonderful temple which has fascinating paintings of various Hindu gods and goddesses and the beauty of this temple is worth watching. The main chamber of this temple houses a beautiful idol of Lord Krishna. Devotees can also see the idols of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Narayan, Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in this temple, which remains open on all the days of the week. Devotees may also visit this temple on auspicious occasions, like Holi and Diwali, when the whole temple is decorated beautifully with lights and lamps.
