The Pandav Leni Caves are made out of the Hinayana Buddhist rock caves by cutting into them. It was constructed in the 1st century BC. These caves are situated on the Trivashmi hills. The beautiful and alluring parts of these caves are remarkably carved doorways and sculptures which were used as dwelling places by the monks who lived here.
Out of the 24 caves; numbers 3, 10 and 18 caves are really worth mentioning for the marvellous sculptures they house. These caves consist of the finest idols of Buddha, Jain Teerthankara Vrishabhdeo, Ambikadevi, Veer Manibhadraji and Bodhisattva. The interiors of these caves are the best parts to be seen. Here, popular meetings were held among disciples and sermons were shared by the holy folk.
