Description: Built by King Sengge Namgyal in 17th century, Stok Palace is an astonishing construction of bygone era. The nine storey structure is one of the oldest Namgyal dynasty castles made in ancient style. The upper floors that used to accommodate the royal Kings and lowers floors held stables, seem to be telling the legends of olden times. For history buffs, the palace has a lot more on display. The incredible collection of jewelry, ornaments, ceremonial attires and crowns will surely amaze you with their appearance. There are many places famous for beautiful views of sunrise, but experiencing sunset and sunrise from this place has its own charm.
