Description: St. John in the Wilderness Church is situated at the northern end of Naini Lake. Dating back to 1844, the church is a historic evidence of the bygone era of Nainital city. Many photographers have captured camera shots of church from Tiffin Top and added them to the books based on history. Though the church is very old, it is well maintained and till date it is a popular attraction for people all over the world. Belgian stained window glasses of the church are beautifully designed and make it look ravishing. Built in Neo-Gothic architecture style by the Anglicans, St. John in the Wilderness Church is a not to be missed place during a trip to Nainital.
