Location: Jehangir Art Gallery is located at Kala Ghoda and lies in the vicinity of Prince of Wales Museum. This art gallery has four exhibition halls and is based near the famous landmark of Mumbai, Gateway of India.

Description: This gallery, which hosts a number of artworks of various artists, was inaugurated in the year 1952 and is dedicated to Jehangir, the late son of Sir Cowasji. The history of this gallery is associated with the Indian art’s renaissance. The building of the art gallery was designed by Durga Bajpai and is regarded as one of the earliest structures made out of concrete in the city. This place was also featured in an Indian movie after which it gained tremendous popularity. All around the year, Jehangir Art Gallery experiences a huge rush of artists who want to display their work at this place. As this gallery gets huge attention from the media, therefore offers a good platform to the budding artists. This place is under the management of Bombay Art Society.
