Description: This gallery, which hosts a number of artworks of various artists, was inaugurated in the year 1952 and is dedicated to Jehangir, the late son of Sir Cowasji. The history of this gallery is associated with the Indian art’s renaissance. The building of the art gallery was designed by Durga Bajpai and is regarded as one of the earliest structures made out of concrete in the city. This place was also featured in an Indian movie after which it gained tremendous popularity.
