Derived from an Urdu word “Numaish”, which means “Exhibition”, the annually held consumer exhibition, Numaish Masnuaat-e-Mulki, has something for everybody. Organized for a period of 46 days, this is one of its kind exhibitions, which is held in the Hyderabad city.
This exhibition was organized during the reigning period of Nizam in 1937 for the first time. This exhibition was started with just 100 stalls to showcase locally made products. People in large numbers, from different regions of the city as well as from neighboring districts, visit the exhibition to become a part of the grand celebrations.
This is a fun filled event, as people can shop for different types of goods which include dry fruits, hand woven garments, electronics items, interestingly designed handicrafts and carpets. People can also enjoy a number of cultural programs that are conducted during this fair, along with shopping for their favorite items.
