Lying amidst the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Moula Ali Dargah is around 10km away from the main city. Situated on the top of a hill, the fine construction and intricate carvings of the mosque were done under the reign of Asif Jahi. It was built in the memory of the son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad, Hazrat Ali.

Due to this fact and its structural design, Dargah has been listed amongst 11 heritage sites in India recognized by the “Heritage conservation committee of HUDA”. Positioned at such a height, one can catch a panoramic and breathtaking view of the Hyderabad city.
