Location: A small temple dedicated to Bijasen Mata, the famous Bijasen Mata temple was built in the year 1920 and is located on the top of a hillock (tekri) in Indore. Travelers can easily reach this temple as it is situated at a distance of 9 km from the railway station and also lies close to the airport.

A guest house of the Holkar dynasty rulers that lies in the vicinity has been converted into a museum which is named as the Border Security Force Arms Museum. The area that surrounds the museum has been converted into a lush green garden that is adorned with a small reservoir of water.
Activities: While on a visit to the Bijasen Mata Temple, tourists can enjoy the marvelous sunset view and also catch a splendid view of the city during night time. Every year around the time of Navaratri festival, a mela is organized at this place. Locals and tourists take part in the celebrations and enjoy themselves.
