Location: Lying at a distance of 8 km from the city of Jaisalmer, Mool Sagar is a small picnic spot that is fast gaining popularity amongst the tourists.

Description: Small water tank and a lush green garden welcome the travelers visiting this place. Constructed in the year 1780, by Maharawal Mool Raj, this place attracts a large number of visitors. A garden present at this place is decorated beautifully with a large variety of flowering plants. A Shiva Temple, that dates back to the medieval era and is believed to be built out of two blocks of sandstone, remains as the main attraction of Mool Sagar. In the previous time, this place was considered as a summer retreat for the members of the royal family.

Three Jain temples that are dedicated to Parsavnath, Sambhavnath and Rishabadev, the Jain Tirthankaras, can be visited by the tourists. A swimming pool, that is located at a small distance, offers relief to the tourists from the heat of the region. Travelers can also savor the local delicacies. A quiet lake, this place attracts tourists due to its peaceful and royal ambiance.
