How to Reach Haridwar

By Air

At a distance of 35 km lies the nearest domestic airport in Dehradun. The Jolly Grant Airport has a number of flights that operate at regular intervals and help the tourists with their journey. International travelers can reach Haridwar from the Indira Gandhi International Airport located in New Delhi, at a distance of around 200 km. After reaching the Dehradun airport, tourists can hire a taxi to reach Haridwar.



By Bus

In the heart of the city lies its bus stand which is at a small distance from the railway station. Large network of roads connect the holy town with various other popular cities of India. Different national highways, like NH-58 and NH-74, help to link the city with different cities lying in the north India. Haridwar is located at a distance of 59 km, 205 km, 210 km and 223 km from Dehradun, Chandigarh, Delhi and Nainital, respectively, hence these distances can be easily covered through road.
