Bhuntar does not have its own railway station, thus if you want to travel by train, then you can get down at Pathankot Railway Station. This junction has a wide network spread all across the north India, which make it really easy for you to access this place. It is very well connected to some of the major cities, including Mumbai, New Delhi, Jammu, Jaipur, Lucknow and Ahmedabad. From the railway station you can hire a cab or taxi to reach the town of Bhuntar.
Considered the gateway to Kullu and Manali, the town of Bhuntar has one and the only airport of this region. This domestic airport is very well connected to Shimla, Chandigarh and Delhi. Taxis are easily available outside the airport, which will comfortably take you anywhere in the town. If you are coming from any international destination, then you have to land at Indira Gandhi International Airport of Delhi. Taxi or buses can be taken to reach Bunter from Delhi.
A well connected and well maintained network of roads makes it easy for you to reach this place by bus. Although a small town, Bhuntar is very well connected to some of the main destinations, like Punjab, Delhi, Chandigarh, Dharamshala etc. Cities such as Kullu, Manali, Mandi, Rampur, Shimla and Baddi can be easily reached by availing regular bus service. Himachal Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (HPSRTC) and some private travel service providers ply buses from Bhuntar to different places across India.
